Sure! You like trash TV? I LOVE trash TV.

I’m unfamiliar with rat hierarchy. I would think he’d have exciting stories about his ports of call and sinking ships he had abandoned. She makes him sound lower than a sewer rat.

Fact is, he was never in a Bilg or on a ship. He gets seasick.

“Well, I have a cousin that works in a lab.”

Rata-poo-ee.

“I don’t know what to tell you baby, it’s a rat race out there.”

When she asked where he lived he said there were a lot of seamstresses there.

Bilges in the fuel-oil era are not friendly to rats or any other life. Norse rats are the world-wide problem, & they mostly traded woolen textiles. It’s the grain shipments that get you.

Sure, if she’ll quit taking about sewers…..
