Same outfits would seem to mean they were binge watching, and for more than a few hours. Just maybe a break between episodes would help maintain their charm.
It must be a trend. I’ve watched some episodic shows that end at a cliffhanger. Just end, no resolution. They leave you wondering what happened next? But there is no next. ??
The other night I watched the first episode of what I could tell was going to be a good series with Ewen McGregor…‘’Gentleman in Moscow’‘. I watched it on Prime, only to find out I have to join another ’pay for’ streaming site in order to watch the rest of it. Nope…not going to do it. The whole series will be free sooner or later….I can wait.
I know this cartoon is about a series, but I have found this same trend in recent movies. Like the movie “Leave the World Behind”, it sets up an interesting story and then just ends. No explanation of anything that happened. I guess I was entertained while I was watching it, but the lack of an ending left me sorry I wasted my time.
But do you know? They wanna do like Alf and keep you in suspense for a long time since you didn’t do any work in filming it. It’s the same way with Back to the Future.
There were several TV series (Friends, Bones….a few others) where I had not watched the first few seasons. My version of binging was get the opening years on Library DVD’s. In a fairly short period of times I caught on many episodes in a short period of time.

Tune in again next season for another thrilling episode of “As The Stomach Turns” and see if you can guess who the killer is.

Been there, done that.
Still here, still doing that.

I watched the first season of preacher, and it was very entertaining. I tried to watch the second season. It sucked.

Sounds like the program of Lost! What a horrible ending because there was no ending.

If this was Netflix, I hope we can watch all the old ones before it gets pulled from the “lineup”.

I think the killer was the increase in rates.

Janis must have suffered a “binge nap” somewhere in there.

They have to wait to watch the next season but when it comes out they have to rewatch the first. I prefer watching when ALL the seasons are out.

(Episode 1)- The hook is set!..(Episode 10)- Conclusion: The realization that you just wasted 10 hours of your life and you’re not sure how or why!
trainnut1956 23 days ago
That’s the problem with cliffhanger endings… if the show doesn’t get picked up for a second season…

the hook just got embedded a little bit deeper……. to make sure you come back for Season Two/Episode One

I’ve never watched 8 episodes of anything in one day. If I watch 2 episodes that is binging and I feel a little lazy.

The ‘Twin Peaks’ problem. If they solve the mystery, the show is over. But if they don’t solve the mystery, there’s no point in continuing to watch.

We need more shows like “Twin Peaks”.

Cancelled before full plot resolution because network executives couldn’t figure it out, either.

Short season because of the writers/actors strikes.
