When discussing MTG, we must always keep in mind that she was elected by her constituents and re-elected in a landslide (I think). Everything she says and does is a representation of Georgia’s 14th district. Those people are part of this country as much as anyone else. This shows the conflict is between people. Green is not an anomaly. She is a product.

As a former powdercoater there are certain colors you don’t like. Mtg green would definitely be at the top !

Marjorie Taylor Greene is sickening to be sure. Even the Freedom Caucus kicked her out! Now she is leading the movement to kick out Speaker Johnson over Ukraine funding. But my hope is that the House as a whole doesn’t want to go through the three-ring circus of electing a new Speaker as they all have to run for reelection in November and their slim majority getting even slimmer with Democrats winning special elections in NY and FL. Even in heavily gerrymandered “safe” districts (like Greene’s 14th district in GA), Congressmen still like to think their constituents back home are happy with them and the job they’re doing. But the GOP continues to devour their own!

Besides stopping the house from accomplishing anything meaningful.. MTG is kinda fun to watch from a distance.. kinda on the same level of watching a train wreck take place.
