Reminds me of a joke my mother told me when I was young. A teacher asked a young lady in her class, “What’s your favorite flower?” The kid says it is Chrysanthemums. Ok, can you spell Chrysanthemums? “I changed my mind, Roses are my favorite flower.”
Trzetrzetewska would, in theory, be a female player as the “a” ending is the feminine form of Polish and Russian names. This would have to be Trzetrzetewsky or “ski” at the end.
When I was in basic training years ago we had a fellow recruit whose name was spelled similar to that. He said it was pronounced “Smith” and never did tell us how it was really pronounced. Even the Technical Instructors (the Air Force’s version of Drill Instructors) called him Smith!
