Why does she care if his shirt is tucked in as long as they’re not going out anywhere?

It will be a cold day when I tuck my shirt in around the house! I KNOW, some people think it is proper!

I am told by my wife to leave my shirt untucked because it hides how far out my belly sticks. I know nothing of fashion so I obey.

I own some button shirts, but 99% of the time I wear a decorative tee shirt and jeans. I tuck in the shirt.

In junior high all the boys walked around with their shirts untucked. The female teachers would scold us and insist we tuck our shirts in. The male teachers understood why we were untucked and never said anything.

the only time I have my shirt tucked in is when I have to go see my C level executives. otherwise, always untucked. Its easier to work at my desk that way.

Lately this comic has become a kind of caricature of elder married life. Was humorous in past years and this arc was kinda funny to begin with, but it has mostly become depictions of nit-picking, snideness, and sniping. Doesn’t depict any of the couples our age or our own. Think I’ll just take a pass.

My physique is a lot like Earl’s, so my shirttail would not stay tucked and my beltline would sag. Not a dignified sight. So I started just tucking in my tee shirt and leaving my shirttail untucked, even at church. I don’t care, and neither does anyone else.

Good to see Muffin! Just love it when the cat is placed in the picture to see the expression on his face.

I can’t remember when it started. For years, I would never be seen in public with an untucked shirt – unless, like a Hawaiian shirt, it was meant to be worn that way. Gradually, as my waistline expanded, so did my propensity for wearing my shirt untucked. I can’t remember the last time I tucked a shirt in!

My son-in-law now has a FUll GREY beard and his hair is still black. I saw him for the first time yesterday since he became disabled. I took one look and asked him if he had lost his razor? His reply was: “I had to be clean shaven for work for 22 years, so now that I stay home, I don’t want to shave. Maybe Christmas. Or when summer arrives.” I told him it made him look a LOT older than he is! He just laughed.

That’s the only way I can keep my jeans up! Wearing the smallest size there is, don’t want to go to the children’s dept.

I cannot stand an untucked in T shirt. My ex wife used to start fights over how I wore my shirts tucked in. Used to ride me up and down over it.

Who cares? If you’re not wearing it, then what is your concern?
