Isn’t THE basic and the whole basic of Christianity it that if you accept JC you go to heaven no matter your sins? And that if you live a sin free life but reject JC you don’t?

More and more I am convinced most people are into religion for the schadenfreude. They get satisaction knowing those they hate are in torment while they will be rewarded. I remember noted scold and moral mother superior Laura Schlessinger saying something to the effect that “There had better be a hell, otherwise I gave bacon up for nothing.” She gave up bacon to lord her moral rightness over others.
