Reminds me of how an abused child can become an abusive adult.

Fueling several generations of future angry terrorists. Even if Hamas is neutralized, which is a big if, Israel has ensured they won’t have future peace.

Just occurred to me yesterday that this might be the cause of this overkill – and I’m Jewish.

I take it the child killing soldiers are part of the IDF.

Didn’t realize Israel was trying to be competitive.

What? Those weren’t Nazis?

In all of this fury at the Israelis, people are forgetting what started this. If the Palestinians would help defeat Hamas, it might help.

Tell Hamas to quit shooting and return the hostages. Problem solved. They started the war if I recall. Negotiating a cease fire is out of the question. The Palestinians voted Hamas into office if I recall. They are guilty also.

Why would Hitler mess with you? You’re doing his work.

They learned well from Hitler. This is just one more of a near infinite number of reasons why religion is mankind’s worst ever invention.

They learned that lesson well.

Arming all the Palestinians would be required…is that what the Israelis are suggesting?

Huh. Let us all recall that there is no way to independently verify the health ministry’s numbers, though many feel that they’re fairly accurate.

The caveat? The health ministry has never, EVER differentiated the death counts of “civilians” and the Hamas fighters.

And regardless of how we feel about the war, or which side one supports – Israel has a ratio that has a far lower number of civilian deaths to militant deaths. Far lower than even the US has with its insane rules of engagement.

Well, yeah. But Bibi is still in power — and not in prison.

The greater good and all that.

magicewalnut completely ignores the endless persecution of the Palestinians from the Israelis for DECADES. Israel took territory and homes away from Palestinians and bulldozed their homes with people inside. Hamas went too far, but killing innocent Palestinians, mostly women and children. is not the solution.

Gasp! You mean to tell me some people are hating on the Jews!

What Hamas started was bad, what Netanyahu is doing is worse.

If they hadn’t allowed them to get a foothold in Gaza it might have helped or if they had not created created this situation in the first place….

You could pick a couple of hundred nights from say, 1943 to 1945 on each of which American and British bombers killed — incinerated alive, in fact — many times more German kids than the Israelis have in six months in Gaza. Will you own up to those facts?

I went into shock at 10,000 casualties. Then the media pooh-poohed that!
